Wim Dooge

Wim Dooge was born in 1952. He studied Business Economy in Rotterdam and Philosophy in Rotterdam, Heidelberg and Amsterdam.

He began his career as a teacher in economics at a secondary school and later taught marketing at the HES (Hogere Economische School) Amsterdam, which is the Economic Faculty of the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam.

He then went on to hold a position as Publishing Economics Editor at Reed/Elsevier, followed by working as a consultant at Winkelman & Van Hessen, a consultancy agency for marketing & communications. Hereafter he became Managing Partner at Van Sluis Communicatie, which is also a consultancy agency for marketing & communications. Before Wim became Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hotelschool The Hague he was several years Managing Director of the RAI, a public affairs organization for the automotive sector.

Since the summer of 1999 Wim Dooge has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hotelschool The Hague.
